WordPress Infrastructure Review
Overall Infrastructure Health
Behemoth Labz has a mature WooCommerce storefront with a large product
catalog, detailed research-focused product pages, consistent product
imagery and a strong optimization layer already in place through
NitroPack.
Mobile Lighthouse performance is relatively strong at 84, but real-user
Core Web Vitals are currently failing because Largest Contentful Paint
is still reaching 2.8 seconds. The biggest opportunities are not a
redesign or hosting rebuild, but tightening how the current WordPress
stack delivers above-the-fold content and unnecessary frontend assets.
Infrastructure Scorecard
Top 3 Opportunities
Prioritize the Mobile LCP Image
Real-user Core Web Vitals are currently failing with a 2.8 second
Largest Contentful Paint. Lighthouse also measured the mobile LCP
at 3.6 seconds.
The homepage hero image is being routed through NitroPack’s lazy
loading system. Excluding the primary above-the-fold image from
lazy loading and explicitly prioritizing it could reduce the
current resource-load delay without changing the design.
Stop WordPress Editor Assets Loading Frontend
The performance trace shows unusually large WordPress editor
packages being delivered on the public-facing site, including
editor, block-editor and components JavaScript bundles.
Those three resources alone account for more than 800 KB of
transferred JavaScript. Identifying why admin/editor dependencies
are reaching visitors could provide a significant frontend
reduction without affecting the storefront.
Reduce Page & DOM Complexity
Lighthouse counted more than 3,000 DOM elements on the homepage.
Large product catalogs, navigation elements, promotional sections
and hidden interface components can increase browser style and
layout work even when JavaScript execution is otherwise efficient.
Simplifying unnecessary markup and loading catalog/interface
elements only when needed would create a leaner foundation as the
store continues to grow.

Best Initial Fit
WooCommerce Performance Optimization
Behemoth Labz already has an effective caching and CDN layer, so a
migration or redesign would not be the first recommendation. The
better initial engagement would be a targeted frontend optimization
pass focused on Core Web Vitals, script delivery, unnecessary editor
assets and large-page DOM complexity.
